Arsene Vandendaele, 87, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away April 24, 2010. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at McGilley Antioch Chapel with a Rosary starting at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection North Cemetery. Arsene was born Jan. 12, 1923, in Merriam, Kan. He was a lifelong Clay County farmer and a member of the Birmingham Levee and Drainage District. Arsene was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Vandendaele; his parents, Joseph and Marie Vandendaele; and two brothers, Joseph Vandendaele and Frank Vandendaele. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald A. and Faye E. Vandendaele, Morris L. and Kelly, A. Vandendaele, Edward F. and Cindi L.
