Arthur T. Wilson, born on December 17, 1949, in Kansas City, MO, answered the Lord's call on September 23, 2023. He joins his beloved parents, Deacon Maurice, and Bessie Wilson, along with others in the presence of the Lord.
Arthur's journey began at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Kansas City. He graduated from Central High School in 1968 and earned a Bachelor of Science from Missouri Valley College in 1972. His career at Kansas City Terminal Railway showcased his intellect in biochemistry and engineering.
Beyond work, Arthur loved chess, football, music, dance, and cooking, known for his ribs and Sunday fried potatoes. His true joy was spending time with loved ones.
He dedicated 40 years to Burlington Northern Santa Fe, spreading wit and laughter in the railyard.
Arthur's love story began with Patricia Ann Boyd, and their marriage in April 1974 brought forth Felisha and Canise. Laughter, good food, and fun marked their journey.
Arthur's generosity, loyalty, and bravery endeared him to family and friends. His unwavering commitment left an indelible mark.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Patricia Ann Wilson; daughters, Felisha and Canise; grandchildren, great-grandchild, siblings, and many loved ones.
Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." "
