Dean was a volunteer with the American Red Cross in Kansas City when I was the casework manager. He was always willing to go to a fire scene when we asked and do anything he could to help. We knew we could completely rely on his damage assessment and could then proceed to help the families. He was a very caring person and we greatly appreciated his help.

To Uncle Dean's Children,
I am so sorry to know that your Dad passed away. He was my favorite Uncle of Ron's. He always made me laugh and was so kind to me. He was a wonderful man and you guys are very blessed to have Uncle Dean as your Dad. He was one of a kind. I had not seen him for a while but I have some wonderful memories of him through the years that I will cherish. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this difficult time.
God Bless.

Mr. Wilson was my neighbor for 17 years. He had a very kind soul. Always there to lend a hand. I will miss our visits we had over the fence between our yards. You will be dearly missed Captain.
