Audrey was born July 6, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Stanley and Jeanette Potyrala-Wojcik. A graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelors in Accounting. She moved to Johnson county, with her husband in 1964. They were married for 55 years.
Her love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable. Even outside of the immediate family, she never forgot to send a card on a birthday or holiday to everyone she knew. Family was important to her and she hosted a reunion every year in Wisconsin, just to get the family together. She had a deep Catholic faith and kind heart. She had a deep love for the theatre and was a season member at New Theatre, Quality Hill, JCCC, The KCRep, and Unicorn. Just to name a few. She loved to travel. A fighter to the end, a 3-time cancer survivor. She never let what was ailing her, get her down. She was a strong determined woman.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Jacque Dhooge and her parents. She is survived by son Tom and wife Kristi Dhooge, daughter Susan and husband Jeff Johnson and six grandchildren Jaeson Campbell, Vikki Dhooge, Samantha and husband Miguel Calderon, Jessica, Alexis, and Nicholas Johnson. She is also survived by a sister, Karen and husband Jim Mellonig.

Services will be held at Curé of Ars Catholic Church at 9400 Mission Road, Leawood, Kansas. Visitation from 2:00pm to 3:00pm and Services following at 3:00pm. Interment services are to be held at a later date at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri
