Barbara C. Krebs, 84, of Independence, MO passed away November 27, 2013. Visitation Fri., Dec. 6, 2013 from 6-8pm with Rosary recited at 7:30pm at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel. Mass of Christian burial 9:30am Sat. at Nativity Catholic Church (10010 E. 40 HWY, Indep.) with interment following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Barbara started her Neighborhood Watch Program, Rockcreek #7 & was their President for 20 years. She volunteered at the 1859 jail in Indep., MO, was a part of the Red Hats Society, as well as a member of Nativity’s Altar Society. Barbara loved bowling, golf & ceramics. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Paul. She is survived by her son, Daniel Krebs & his fiancée, Alison; three grandchildren, Matt Krebs, Jeff Krebs & Nicole Krebs and two great grandchildren, Tristen & Braden Krebs.
