Barbara L. Overman, 74, of Indep., MO passed away at home on Sun., July 19, 2015. Cremation. Barbara was born July 7, 1941 in Joplin, MO to Charles & Anna Overman. She was a professed member of Mount St. Scholastica Convent in Atchison, KS for over 20 years. Barbara later worked with the elderly & sick as an Independent Social Worker and for the last 10 years she worked for the State Dept. of Health before retiring. Barbara is survived by her brother, Chuck Overman of Overland Park, KS & her sister, Sandy Zalewski of Westwood, KS.
