Bebe was born April 8th, 1931 in Kansas City to Marguerite and Bill Burrichter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill, along with her husband Gerald (Van) who passed away in 2012. Bebe and Van enjoyed 57 years of a loving marriage together. She is survived by 2 children, Nancy (Kevin) Connell and John (Molly) VanBuskirk, 7 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
Mom was the 2nd of 4 generations to graduate from St. Teresa’s Academy and was a graduate of Sarchon Hooley Business School. Mom and Dad loved to give back to the community by volunteering. St. Elizabeth’s School, St. Teresa’s, Rockhurst, Ozanam Home, Saint Joseph Hospital and the Respite Program at Cure of Ars and Nativity are just a few of the many organizations where Bebe volunteered.
She loved being around and working with younger people and those in need. Mom was vibrant and athletic and she loved her golf and the many leagues she played in throughout her life. Springtime and the beginning of the golf season was one of her favorite times of year! She very much enjoyed being around her son John’s and daughter Nancy’s many friends and they in turn loved being around her.
The family would like to thank Care Haven Homes and Hospice House for taking such loving care of mom in her final stage of life. Rest in Peace mom, we love you.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Bebe. She had the most gracious heart of love for her family and friends. We had the privilege of living across the street in Deer Creek Villas from Bebe and Van for over 9 years and I'm pretty certain Bebe was the first neighbor we met. What a joy! You could visit with her next to the mail boxes. Chat with Van puttering in the yard. Or her door was always open .. come in ... visit .. have a glass of wine! And of course .. she always referred to Donna and I .. as ... You kids! We will miss her ... she and Van can now continue those visits with Donna in heaven. Rest in peace wonderful lady.

“How lucky is it to have someone so wonderful that it makes saying goodbye so hard. You and your family are in our thoughts.”
Bebe was one of the first persons we met when moving to Deer Creek Villas. She made a special effort to friendly and welcoming to make us feel at home. She was fun and one of a kind.
May God be with you during this time of healing.

Dear Nancy and Family I was so sorry to hear of your moms passing. I remember all the great times we shared in her kitchen. She would be right in there laughing with us. I will keep you all tucked in my prayers. I’ve requested a mass for your mom through a special intention at Conception Abbey. Know of my prayers Nancy for you , John, your children and grandchildren at this difficult time.

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing, she was such a wonderful friend to my mother Rosemary Egle Faubion and they were friends from grade school until my mother's passing. She was essential to all of us when my mother passed away and helped all of us so much with handling services, and speaking at my Mother's service. My memories of your mom are always with my mom both of them smiling and having fun! A lot of laughter and now I know they are laughing together again, maybe playing bridge (or at least pretending to), because I'm not really sure how much bridge was really played at their bridge club, but they had fun! Thinking of all of you at this difficult time,
