Barbara Christine Yezierski

Barbara was born February 20, 1950 to Stephen Stanley and Verna Louise (Boyd) Cooper in Kansas City. She was a 1968 graduate of St. Pius X High School. Barbara attended nursing school and worked as a Licensed Public Nurse and held various positions in the health care industry. In 1974, she welcomed her first child, Jacqueline Dufoe, who preceded her in death. In 1977, she welcomed Dustin Dufoe into her life. Her two children were her world, following their births her whole world revolved around them.

In addition to Jacqueline, Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Jon Cooper

Barbara is survived by husband, Robert Yezierski; son, Dustin Dufoe (Shantelle); step-son, David Yezierski; grandchildren, Eden, Dylan, Chase, Aldyn, and Paisley; brothers, Stephen Cooper and Dennis Cooper (Margaret); two nephews, Chris Cooper and Brett Cooper; and several cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life is from 4:00-5:30 PM Saturday, April 13th, with a Eulogy and Sharing of Memories at 5:30 PM, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the American Society for Suicide Prevention.
