Belinda G. Zamora, 62, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on August 6, 2015. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 14 at Sacred Heart-Guadalupe Parish, 2544 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64108. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 15 at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart-Guadalupe Parish.
Belinda was born March 10, 1953 in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, daughter of Josefina Garcia and Juan Zamora. She immigrated to the United States over 40 years ago and planted roots in the Kansas City area. She worked tirelessly for her family and was the most outstanding mother and loving grandmother.
Belinda was preceded in death by her mother; her brothers Joel and Abel Zamora and her nephew Aldo Davila. She is survived by her father; children Ricardo Olivares (Cristina), Sheila Zarate (Daniel), Nancy Olivares-Johnson (Ty), Luis M. Lopez (Tracy), Omar Lopez, and Oswaldo Lopez (Alexandra); grandchildren Ivan, Alexis, Carlos, Daniela, Olivia, Aireana, Ian, Max, Luciana, and Emme. She also leaves behind five sisters, four brothers, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is loved and will be greatly missed.
