He was born on February 17th, 1989, in Kansas City, Missouri, a beloved son of Theresa and David Kent.
Ben was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Edward Thorp and Robert Lee Kent.
He was an enthusiastic Chiefs and Harley Davidson fan. He enjoyed going to Chiefs games, loved watching Jaxson play ball, enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and riding his Harley.
Ben is survived by his parents, Theresa and David Kent; one son, Jaxson Christian; one sister, Monica Reid; three nieces, Sydney Reid, Emily Winkles, and Ethel Groseclose; two grandmothers, Lynn Eileen Holliday (who passed shortly after) and Catherine Marie Kent; lifelong friend and mother of Jaxson, Jamie Christian; multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers are Jaxson Christian, Malissa Guadalupe, Jake Gibson, Drew Pixler, Rob Goodwin, Jon Rowland, Carl Felker.
In Chiefs attire; Visitation will be Friday, July 11, 2025 1:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Friday, July 11, 2025, 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home with Chris Gunn officiating.
Graveside Burial will be on Friday, July 11, 2025 3:00 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
