Even though Bert was my Great Uncle he was always so young at heart and such a war welcoming person that I always thought of him as my Uncle who just happen to be Great.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Tressa & the family. (Betty Lou's daughter)

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I can remember Grandpa Baker being such an important part of your life as he was a regular around the house... at many cheerleading games, competitions and even helping to build our prize winning cheerleading homecoming floats. I know he will be truly missed by all who knew him and especially your family.

I will be praying for you all as you grieve his loss and my family sends our love across the miles! May God's Love surround you during this very difficult time.

Truly a man of faith! I will remember and miss him all my days.

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Baker.  Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

I knew Bert for over 30 years....saw him every Sunday at church, and every Sunday, he met me with his smile and one of his many jokes.  It was one of those things I grew to look forward to...he was always so uplifting!  I am going to miss Bert very much, but I know that when my time comes to leave this life, I'll see him again in heaven...and he will undoubtedly greet me with one of his jokes!  I love you Bert!

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
