Bertha Caudillo Peña ,68, of Kansas City, MO, died on Aug. 18, 2011 at Northcare Hospice House. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thurs, Aug 25 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, KCMO. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug 26 at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart Rd, Liberty, MO. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66202.

Bertha was born March 25, 1943 in Monterrey, Mexico to Ricardo and Josefina Caudillo. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Euvense M Peña.

She is survived by her children, Susan Peña, Sonia Peña, Jessica Peña, Olga Zavala (David), all of Kansas City, MO and Benny Hernandez (Renee) of Bonner Springs, KS; grandchildren, Leticia (Alex) Zavala, Sabrina Zavala, Victorya Zavala, Ann Nicole Hernandez, Tony Hernandez; great-granddaughter, Cassidy Spencer; sister, Delfina Torres and her children of KCKS.
