Bethanie Claire Denk

Funeral services are 12:00 PM Monday, June 17th, with visitation from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64119. Burial will follow services in Resurrection Cemetery of Lenexa, 8300 Quivira Road, Lenexa, KS 66215.

Bethanie was born February 25, 1998 and was a lifelong area resident. She loved to travel, had just became a licensed esthetician, and absolutely loved spending time with her family and friends.

Bethanie wasn’t just Bethanie, she was her own person. So dedicated and willing to help everyone else even if it meant putting herself last. Always found the good in everyone. She absolutely adored and would do anything for her nieces and nephews who she called her own. Anyone who is close to or knew Bethanie would tell you she could/would talk your ear off; rarely ever miss a phone call and if she did she would always call back. Her smile, her laugh, her voice, every single memory will forever be missed by everyone who truly had a place in her heart. She always told all of us we would one day look back and thank her for constantly recording and taking pictures but I never thought it would be this soon, and definitely not like this. We know she’s looking down on all of us now, but this will never feel real. Losing her will never feel real. She was too special and taken too soon.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wauneta R, Whitsitt and Robert D. Whitsitt; paternal grandparents, Mary Ann Denk and Theodore Denk, Sr.; a half-brother, and Dawson Denk.

Survivors include her parents, Marianne Denk and Stephen Denk; siblings, Travis M. Denk, Katelan C. Waller, and Mark A. Denk; a half-brother, Easton Levi Denk; nieces and nephews, Alaina N. Denk, Jayden M. Waller-Denk, Malaya R. Waller-Denk, Ryder N. Denk, Rylan N. Denk, and Mila K. Waller.
