Amanda was born on February 8, 1983, in Independence, Missouri to Randall Silvey and Kendall (Carriker) Heather. She grew up with her siblings, Travis and Jessica Silvey, and later became the mother of two daughters, Alyssa and Isabella English, whom she shared with their father, John English.
Amanda’s world revolved around her girls. She will best be remembered for her unconditional love for Alyssa and Bella, and the way she made every moment for them full of laughter and life.
Those who knew Amanda will never forget her bold spirit, quick wit and unmistakable laugh that could fill any room. She faced life head on and spoke her mind without hesitation, yet always had a way of bringing humor into even the toughest situations. Her strength, honesty and unforgettable presence left a mark on anyone fortunate enough to know her.
A funeral service celebrating Amanda’s life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2 p.m. at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64119. We welcome those who loved Amanda and wish to pay their respects.
Amanda’s life will live on through her daughters and all who loved her.
