She was born on January 5, 1925, in Newton, Iowa, to Pirl and Adah Hick.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
Betty married William Richard (Bill) Davis on December 15, 1946, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Betty enjoyed playing bingo, quilting, crafting, and travelling with Bill. She also loved visiting with family and celebrating hundreds of birthdays!
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Betty is survived by her son, Roger L. Davis (Elizabeth), and daughters, Debbie Stvan and Susie Shurtleff (Bill). Additionally, she is survived by 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
