Betty Louise Kennedy

She was born on June 9, 1925 in Independence, MO., the daughter of Charles A. and Gladys Irene (Chidester) Russell. Betty was in the Banking Industry for over 40 years and retired in 1987 as the Head Bank Teller for Boatmans’s Bank in Independence, MO. She was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed riding horses, football, partying and going to Lake of the Ozarks. She was extremely talented in Ceramics; she was excellent at this craft and produced many treasures for family and friends, and was able to continue this well into her mid 80’s. She is survived by one son: Jerry (Wife: Paula) Ellis of Independence, MO., two daughters: Pamela Ellis of Boynton Beach, FL., and Donna (Mike Mauer) Fain of Oak Grove, MO. Four Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren, and Six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Charles and Robert Russell and sister: Dorothy Haggart. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
