Betty Jean Love, peacefully transitioned from this life to her heavenly home on
January 11, 2019. She was born January 28, 1950, in Doddsville, Mississippi, to
the union of John Henry Frencher Sr. and Doretha Walker-Frencher, who both
preceded her in death . Betty was the sixth child of 25 children (two brothers
and three sisters preceded her in death). The family moved to Kansas City,
Missouri in 1966 where she met her husband, Myron Neal Love, Sr., who also
preceded her in death. To this union was born two children.
Betty gave her life to Christ at an early age. By the obedience of God, Betty
and a few others followed Pastor Leslie C. Seals to establish a new church in
1970 which Betty gave the named “True Faith Missionary Baptist Church”. She
was a lifelong member of the church, where she was lovingly known as
‘Mother Love’. Betty’s passion was serving God! Prior to Betty experiencing
significant health issues, she was a devout and dedicated member of the
Dynamic Voices of Praise Gospel singing group, where she shared her
God-given gift of song! Her voice rang with praise and power through the
songs she led. Betty was also a member of the Singing Stars and SCS-LNO
Women’s Group. Betty was blessed with the gift of caring for others. Betty
was a self-taught awesome seamstress. If it was material, she could sew it!
From ball gowns to draperies, she could do it. Her servant hands were rarely
still!
Betty was a compassionate and dedicated mother. She loved and treasured
her children, embracing every moment she had with them! She was a loving
daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She had a
one-of-a-kind, loving personality that poured out to anyone around her. If you
say to her, “I love you”, she would in turn say, “I love you more, more, more!”
And, no matter what your situation, she’d say, “Honey hold your head up,
Jesus can fix!---if you let Him!” She lived her life according to the word of God,
Ephesians 4:32, “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving
one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” Her goal was to spend
eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! She lived her life to see Jesus!
She will be missed, but never ever be forgotten!
