Betty Lou (Young) Vaught, 89, Kansas City, MO, passed away May 5, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 11 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 12, in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holmeswood Baptist Church, 9700 Holmes, Kansas City, MO 64131.
Betty was born July 14, 1924 in Lathrop, MO. She was a member of Holmeswood Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Bill Vaught, children Jeanie (Packham) Amos and Susan Meador, John Vaught, Pamela Prouse and David Vaught, twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
