She married Samuel Wesson on March 9, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri and was employed by Missouri Pacific Railroad as a telegrapher and Alcoa Aluminum as a secretary.
Betty enjoyed reading, gardening, scrapbooking and making and decorating cards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Wesson and parents, Earl and Dorothy Davidson.
Betty is survived by sister, Mary C Lehmer; daughters, Mary Ann Delgado (Joseph) and Deborah Chambers(Charles); son, David Wesson (Carmen); and five grandsons, Daniel Liss, Brandon Delgado, Ryan Delgado, Jeff Chambers and Scott Chambers; one step-granddaughter, Charlize Chambers; and 6 great grandchildren: Max Degado, Reese, Zoey and Channing Chambers and Kaylee and Elliette Chambers; two nieces and one nephew.
A visitation for Betty will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
