Beverly Cannon, 78, of Kansas City, MO passed away January 1, 2016 in Kansas City, MO. Beverly was born December 8, 1937 in Kansas City, MO to Karl and Helen Thomas. On December 10, 1955 she was united in marriage to John L. Cannon, and they were blessed with 60 years together. Beverly was Mom to four children: Jackie Mercer, Vincent Cannon, Nancy Smith, and Jim Cannon and Grandma to 11; Great Grandma to 5. Beverly had a never ending love for her family, a contagious positive attitude and a gentle spirit. Her husband greeted her every morning with the question “You still my girl?” which would make her day. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home with services starting at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
