Beverly was born October 20, 1936, in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Jessie E. Dale, and Leona G. (Griggs) Dale. She loved gardening, quilting , crafts, and babysitting for neighbors as she raised her three sons in their busy household.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Ernest Dolence as well as her son Gregory Dolence. She leaves two sons, Dan ( Sandy ) of Raymore, MO and Preston ( Sue ) of Peculiar, MO, four grandchildren Chris Dolence ( Emily ) of Lees Summit, MO, Aubrey Hennington ( Brandon ) of Raymore, MO, Whitney Lage ( Aaron) of Chicago, IL, and Ashley Smallwood of Broken Arrow, OK. She was blessed to have 14 great grandchildren who gave her great joy in her sunset years. She is also survived by her sister Wilma Bushmeyer of Warrensburg, MO and her partner of 22 years Stan Novak with whom she traveled to many of our nation's national parks and other historical sites around the country, memories she cherished until she passed.

Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home and Floral Hills Cemetery, located at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri will be handling her services on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, followed by a short service and graveside commitment at 10:00am. Friends and family are welcome to join the family in the chapel for a fellowship reception immediately following the services.
