Beverly Jean Keyes

Beverly was born to parents Emma & Benjamin Cox on June 17, 1933 and was one of nine siblings. After graduating from high school in 1951, she married her late husband, John Gerald (“Gerry”) Keyes, in 1954 and spent the next eight years having six children. After raising all six kids, Beverly and Gerry enjoyed traveling with their family and friends around the globe to destinations including Australia, Hawaii, Hungary, Alaska & Budapest to name a few.

Beverly is preceded in death by her late spouse Gerry Keyes; siblings Hattie Barnett, Wilma King, Robert Cox, Howard Cox & Kenneth Cox; and grandchild Timothy Keyes.

Beverly is survived by siblings Carolyn Allen, Harrold Cox & Donald Cox; children Sharon Hardy, (spouse Jeff), Sandra Wilson, Michael Keyes, Patrick Keyes (spouse Cheryl), Tammy Smith (spouse Randy) & John Keyes Jr. (spouse Melissa); grandchildren Adam Hardy (spouse Julie), Amanda Hardy, Benjamin Wilson, Taylor Olbrich (spouse Jonathan), Jason Smith (spouse Lauren), Brandi Smith, Tressa Bodlovich (spouse Joe), Jeana Smead (spouse Matthew) & John Keyes; great grandchildren Denai Hay-Wynia (spouse William), Adison Hardy, Steven Hardy, Peyton Weaver, Mason Weaver, Jeremy Eiland, Cheyene Smith, Candace Smith, William Gericke, Gavin Keyes & Ella Bodlovich; and great, great grandchildren Shaiden Hay-Wynia & Astraea Hay-Wynia.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00PM on Monday, August 1, 2022, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home at 7000 Blue Ridge Parkway in Kansas City, Missouri.
