Beverly Joan Twaddell

She was born in Centerville, Iowa on June 25, 1933 to the late Esther Swanson Taylor and James Wesley Taylor.

She married the love of her life, James J. Twaddell in July 1951 and they spent 72 years together until his death in December 2023. They had 4 children and are survived by 3 of them.

The oldest, Kathy Jo Twaddell, preceded them in death in July 2022. Surviving children are Kent Alan Twaddell, Craig Brian Twaddell (wife Kathryn) and Julie Hellman (husband Dr. Richard Hellman); grandchildren Christy Kirchhoff, Colin Twaddell (wife Allison), Erin Twaddell, Leslie Hellman (husband Ethan Teller); great-grandchildren Brandon Kirchhoff, Caidon Kirchhoff and Arlo Twaddell, along with dear family friend Eva Dickey.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She supported her family in ways too numerous to list. She had a close and loving relationship with her brother and sisters, often speaking to them on a daily basis. Her kitchen was her place. She loved her rocking chair, cooking for holidays, and enjoying the view of her beautiful property. She had nothing but kind words for everyone, and seemed to never meet a stranger.

She will be dearly missed.
