

Blake Alan Canestraight was born on June 23, 2021 and passed into eternity in the loving arms of his DaDa Jeffrey “Kano” Canestraight and MaMa Larissa Canestraight after struggling with genetic myopathy on October 1, 2021.
Blake is survived by his Sissy Ella Canestraight. Grandparents Keith & Tisha Polsinelli, Pam Schulte and Gary & Cheryl Canestraight. Great Grandparents Ray & Dorothy Sadler and Louis & Irene Polsinelli. Aunts Jaclyn (Craig) Sivers, Lisa (Donnie) Nogle and Brandy (Keith) Kirby. Great Aunts Lynne Fleming and Robin Metz. Great Uncle Travis Fick as well as his extended family that loved him so much. Preceded in death by Great Grandparents Ted (Karen) Fick, John (Kathy) Canestraight and Nadine Whitworth
Although his time on earth was short, Blake touched so many lives and was loved by all that knew him.
The family would like to thank the incredible doctors, nurses and staff at Overland Park Regional NICU that took perfect care of our little man and loved him. We could not have asked for a more caring and loving team of people and we appreciate you so much.
A celebration of life will be held on October 9th, 2021 at 11:00 am. Heritage Park located at 16050 Pflumm, Olathe Kansas, Shelter #7. For site map of park go to jcprd.com. Refreshments will follow the celebration.
