

Bobby L. “Bob” Robeson, 63, Kansas City, MO, loving husband, son, father, awesome fun loving “Grandpa”, Vietnam Veteran tragically passed away on October 13, 2011 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Claude and Eunice Barnett formally of Plattsburg, MO and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Susan; three sons; A. Scott and Sara Robeson (St. Louis, MO.); Aaron and Jody Robeson (Comfort, TX.); Andrew Robeson( Cedar Falls, IA.); A Grandpa of six, Abby, Jack, Claire and Slade, Isaac and Justin. Bob is also survived by his mother Marion and James Prather; his father Lawrence B. Robeson; Siblings, Joseph and Jenny, Michael, Patrick, Kenny and Susan. Bob was born in St. Joseph, MO on August 2, 1948. He served proudly in Vietnam during 1970-71 with MACV Advisory Team 96. He was a member of the VFW and the VVA. His passion for 43 years was the work he did with farm equipment dealers and the lifelong friendships he made in the United States and Canada. He most enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. In his 63 years, Bob was blessed with lasting love for his family and friends, pure joy and delight in his grandchildren and pride in serving his country. Bob will be truly missed.
Visitation will be 5-7PM Sunday October 16, 2011 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00 AM Monday October 17, 2011 at St. Charles Catholic Church 900 NE Shady Lane Dr. KCMO. Burial will follow at Resurrection North Cemetery.
