Brandon J. Sloan, 28 of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away January 8, 2013. Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Brandon was born April 30, 1984 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a carpenter by trade, most recently had worked as a security guard at Armour Home in Kansas City. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, Chiefs fan, and loved his dog Nikita. He was preceded in death by his father Donald L. Sloan. He is survived by his mother Cheryl and stepfather David Lindeman of Lake Tapawingo, Missouri; maternal grandparents Bud and Doris Dickinson; uncles Bill, Bob and Don Dickinson; aunt Brenda Barton; extended family and friends.
