Brenda Kay Peters

Brenda was born on November 13, 1945, in Temple, Texas. She was adopted at the age of 12 by her loving parents Temple and Irene McClain.

She was a beautician at the Model beauty shop in North Kansas City for many years. Later, she chose a new career path in secretarial work eventually retiring from CECO.

She found joy in painting and crocheting. Her love and sense of humor will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 45 years Philip E Peters and both her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Krisha Nible (Tom) of Kansas City; son Troy Peters-Weaver (Daniel) of Oklahoma City, Ok; grandson’s Nicholas and Riley Nible (Ashley); granddaughter Hadassah Nible; Sister in-law Rosalie Peters (Robert); Nephew James Peters (Melanie); Nieces Deborah Sobatka (Ed) and Tamarah Boysel (Chuck); Many great nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Kansas City Hospice for their exceptional care.

A Graveside Service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, 19437 Eagle Ave, Cainsville, MO 64632, US, on October 7, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
