Brett Allen Campbell, a gentle giant and a true lover of life, was called home on December 13, 2021. God reached down and plucked the best flower from our garden. James and Maria were blessed to have had him for 30 years. Born on January 29, 1991, he enjoyed celebrating his special day.
Brett completed his intermediate education at Truman High School where he met many friends that he continued to keep in touch with throughout his life. Brett went on to continue his education, with a focus on game development and programming at Longview Community College before beginning a career with Wal-Mart which lasted nearly 11 years. Throughout his career at Wal-Mart Brett was seen as hard working and full of energy. Outside of work, he would continue to embrace his many hobbies and enjoyed a fun and fulfilling life with his friends and family.
He loved to work and kept money in his pocket for whatever he wanted to do. He also made sure that his favorite girls, his Mom and Sister, Grandmother and Aunt were always taken care of.
You could catch Brett and his gaming buddies online competing with each other playing his favorite games. A few of his favorite games were Mass Effect, God of War, Assassins Creed, and Kingdom Hearts. He was good at all of them. They would play for hours. Brett would buy Special Edition Games and collected the cool figurines that came with them. He would collect all that he could.
Brett was a kind, gentle, loving soul, who had an amazing outlook on life. He accepted God at a very young age and knew how important it was to have a personal relationship with Him.
Brett was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Pedro G. Pantoja; two uncles, Vincent and Pete Pantoja; and Paternal grandparents, David Ray and Betty Ruth Campbell.
Brett leaves many to cherish his precious memory. His mother and father, James and Maria; sister and brother-n-law, Laura and Matthew; maternal grandmother, Juanita; an aunt Teresa, and a special great aunt and uncle, Ruth and Juan; his very best friend, Joseph Hon; a host of family, friends and everyone that he has had contact with in his life. He will be missed dearly by all.
