Brian G. Hicks, 58, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel. Mr. Hicks was born May 6, 1953 in Wichita, Ks. He was a custodian for the Raytown School District. Mr. Hicks is survived by his best friend of 14 years, Sherry Fann; his mother, Barbara Hicks of Washington state; his son, Trenton Hicks (Jennifer) of Sacramento, CA., sister, Marsha Johnson (John) also of Washington state; four step-children and thirteen grandchildren.
