Brian Loyd Walz

Brian Loyd Walz, 51, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, died on Monday, March 18, 2013 at his home. A Celebration of Brian’s life will be at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the chapel. Brian was born on December 16, 1961 in Lakeland, Florida to George and Jo Ann (Gehlken) Walz. He was a 1980 graduate of Ruskin Heights High School. At the time of his death, Brian was the co-owner of Internet Designs and the owner of Raytown Computer Repair. He was a member of Grace Church in Lee’s Summit. Brian’s survivors include his son, Caleb Loyd Walz of Lees’ Summit, Missouri; daughter, Brandi Taylor of Independence, Missouri; father, George Walz of Kansas City, Missouri; mother, Jo Ann Walz of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; brother, Scott Walz and wife Diana of Kansas City, Missouri; former wife, Carol Walz of Raytown, Missouri; and former father-in-law, James L.
