Bryan Gonzalez

Born on June 29, 2000, in Chicago, he was the cherished son of Silvia and Armando Gonzalez and the loving brother of Yvone Gonzalez. Bryan was significantly charismatic, loving and had the most beautiful, intricate soul. He was gentle, but protective to those that had the privilege to be cared for by Bryan. He was the person you could always rely on no matter the lengths of the situation. In the dullest moments, you could count on him to make everyone laugh with his eccentric humor and wit. Bryan always found a way to keep us on edge, due to his spontaneous and adventurous personality.

At the young age of 22 in the beginning of 2023, Bryan was diagnosed with cancer. Despite this life-altering news, he showed incredible resilience and determination. His unwavering positivity inspired all who knew him, and even in the face of adversity, Bryan continued to live his life to the fullest. He fought diligently along with the support of his family, friends and loved ones until his last breath.

It is never easy to find the right words to say goodbye to a treasured soul, especially one who fought so bravely against cancer. However, we can take solace in the love, memories, and resilience Bryan left behind; cherishing his spirit, and emulating his strength in the face of adversity.

As we say goodbye to our beloved Bryan, let us express our deepest gratitude for having him in our lives. Bryan's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His life, though short, was a testament to the impact one individual can have on the countless lives he touched.

Rest in peace, beloved Bryan. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Your memory will forever be a source of joy to all who knew you. Until we meet again Bryan, you are so loved.

A visitation for Bryan will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 E. 47th Street, Kansas City, MO 64133. Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Parish, 5106 St. John Ave., Kansas City, MO 64123.
