Caleb Daniel Martin

Caleb Daniel Martin, 3 years of age, Independence, MO passed away July 27, 2016. Visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 5 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64131. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, August 6, at the Harvest Baptist Church, 901 NW 19th St., Blue Springs, MO, 64015. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, KC Regional Office, Metcalf 103 Shopping Ctr., 7000 W. 105th St., Overland Park, KS 66212 and/or Supporting Kids Foundation, PO Box 15171, Lenexa, KS 66285-5171. Caleb’s parents would like helium balloons, any color or size, to be brought to the visitation or funeral service for a balloon release at the committal service. Caleb was born July 22, 2013 in Shawnee Mission, KS, the youngest son of Jose F. and Joanna L. (Turpin) Martin. He loved Little People toys and watching movies, especially Big Hero Six. He had just returned from a trip to Disney World made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

He is survived by his loving parents, maternal grandparents Joyce and Thomas Quilty and Larry and Jeannie Turpin, paternal grandparents Hubert and Diane McCarther, brothers and sisters Kale Sola, Kylie Sola, Andrew (Fabi) Turpin, Antonio Martin, Austintino Martin, Arianna Martin, Justin Martin, Mariah Martin and Savannah Rocha, aunts and uncles Beth (Les) DeLapp, Lisa Rocha, Bekki and James Stanifer, Donna and Richard Tuescher, David Vaughn III and his wife Jamie and Mikyla McCarther, niece Ramanhi Simpson, nephew Khalil Turpin and a host of loving extended family.
