Carl D. Eagleson
July 4, 1930 – May 12, 2022

Carl “Dad” “Pops” “Uncle Dude” Eagleson, age 91, passed away at his home in Raymore, Missouri on May 12, 2022.
Carl was born on July 4, 1930, in Seminole, Oklahoma to Thomas and Della Eagleson. Carl grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, where he married Helen JoAn Morgan on May 27, 1949.
Carl began his employment with General Motors Company at the Leeds Assembly Plant at age seventeen working the candy and coffee wagon for the assembly line. He retired as the Assistant Plant Manager Superintendent.
Carl is survived by his sister, Mary Hendrix, daughter Cindy (David) Erhard, son Tom K. Eagleson, grandsons Tommy L. Eagleson, and Joe (Keisha) German, great-grandchildren Zoe German, Eli German, Maci German, Jordan Eagleson, and Leah Eagleson.
He was preceded in death by his wife JoAn, sister-in-law Bernice Fulkerson and brothers-in-law Jimmy Fulkerson and Martin Hendrix.
Carl and JoAn were charter members of the Raymore Christian Church.
He will be truly missed for his love, support, generosity, and his storytelling.

A visitation for Carl will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133.
