Carl L. Miller, Sr., 89, of Independence, MO passed peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2012. Visitation on Tuesday, May 29th at the McGiley & Sheil Chapel from 10-11am. Graveside service following at 11:30am at Floral Hills Cemetery. Carl was an Army Veteran serving during WWII and a Past Master of Independence Masonic Lodge 76. Everything he tried in life, he was able to master. Carl is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jo; a son, Carl, Jr. (Sharon); a daughter, Linda Dixon (Roy); 5 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren.
