Carlos was born on Aug. 8, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to Gabriel and Maria Hurtado. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Clementina Hurtado; brothers, Garbriel Hurtado, Jr. and Eduardo Hurtado. Survived by brothers, Norberto, George (Chu-hwa), Robert; sisters, Rose Mary (Raymond) Velasquez, Dolores Springer, Carmen Jaime, Elvira (Arthur) Soto, Gloria Maria (Tom) Dewey; and extended family.
