Carol attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and was an avid Badger fan. She met and later married the love of her life, Werner R. Eugster, on March 16, 1957. Carol was a member of the Wisconsin Alumni Association and Atonement Lutheran Church. She enjoyed attending Wisconsin Badger games, both home and away. Carol was an accomplished golfer, loved to travel to visit family and friends in their motor home, was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed cooking for her family.
A heart-warming smile and loving demeanor, Carol was always lighting up the room with her laugh. She found such pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, never without her home-made rice crispy treats. She embraced her granddaughters’ husbands with an open heart, making them feel as instant family. Always taking care of others, she was the last one out the door with extra blankets, sweaters, and snacks for an evening boat ride. She went the extra mile to make her family feel loved. She in turn, was loved by so many.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lyle and Neal. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Werner “Ike” Eugster; a daughter, Pamela Eugster; sons: Steven and his wife Karen Eugster; and Robert Eugster; sisters: Vergene Glaser and Norma Baker; four grandchildren: Brittany (Erick) Green and Emily Eugster, Chyla (Cody) Cooper, and Brandon Eugster; two great-grandchildren: Ellie Green and Casen Cooper.
