Carol Marie (Shoup) Shove passed away May 11th, 2018 at her home in Surprise Arizona, surrounded by the love of her family.

Carol was born November 30, 1944 in Bremerton, Washington. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was above all else dedicated to her family. She was kind, hard working, unselfish and always thinking of others.

Her mother, Alice Marie Stone and her husband of 33 years, John Howard Shoup, preceded her in death. Carol is survived by her brother, Arnold F. Jackson (Patricia) and sister, Jo Anna Stone; her husband, Michael J. Shove, and her daughters; Terry M. Griffith, Debra A. Rangel and Alison L. Shoup (Daniel Goretskie). Her grandchildren include Stephen P. Green (Melissa), Stuart A. Rangel, Christina M. Carroll (Robert Matney) and Alexandria A. Rangel. Her great-grandchildren include Kaitlyn Green, Isabelle Rangel, Angel Matney and Benjamin Rangel. Although Mike’s children Timothy, Tracy and his granddaughter Krysta came into her life much later, she wrapped them in love like her own.

A visitation for Carol will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

A funeral service will occur Friday, May 18, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

An interment will occur Friday, May 18, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

Serving as pallbearers are Daniel J. Goretskie, Stephen P. Green, Stuart A. Rangel, Timothy S. Shove, Victor P. Green and David W. Jefferies.

Biography

Carol Marie (Shoup) Shove passed away May 11th, 2018 at her home in Surprise Arizona, surrounded by the love of her family.

Services will be held at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri; Funeral Service 3:00pm, Friday, May 18th, burial to immediately follow. Friends may call during a visitation from 5:30pm to 7:30pm May 17th.
