Carol McCormick Taylor, 69, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away August 19, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, at A Place of Praise Church, 304 E. 23rd Street South, Independence, Missouri. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor was born April 3, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of James McCormick and Hiawatha Davis McCormick. She is survived by her husband Paul Taylor, Jr.; son Emmett and wife Lisa Crook; son Darrin and wife Sarah Crook; stepson Paul Obie, and grandson Emmett Crook, Jr. Carol is also survived by extended family and friends.
