

Carolyn was born on July 25th, 1939 to parents Virgil and Ruth Hobbs in Kingsville, Missouri.
Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Kingsville, Missouri. She worked the jewelry counter at K-Mart until her retirement in 1997. She was a dedicated member of Kingsville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Carolyn was a simple gal who loved her family, especially Mya Mae, her favorite grand-doggy. Miss Mya knew exactly how to find grandma’s house. Carolyn would let her in, give her a biscuit and spend the evenings with her when she came running.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Ruth; her sister, Linda Hobbs; her husband, Henry Clark; and her grandson, Nathan Saunders.
She is survived by her sister, Patsy Willis; her children, Mike (Debra) Saunders, Larry Saunders, Terry (Sherri) Saunders, and Tammy (Morgan) Evinger; five grandchildren, Mike (Sarah) Evinger, Pat (Jenine) Evinger, Matthew Saunders, Shannon (Michael) Booth, and Amanda (Brian) Felix; eight great-grandchildren, Nathan, Avery, Kaley, Jordan, Sophie, Kylie, Brett, and Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Kingsville Seventh-day Adventist Church (1564 SW MO-58, Kingsville, MO 64061) on Thursday, May 28th, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11:00am, with a funeral service at 12pm. A graveside service will follow at Floral Hills East Memorial Cemetery (25203 E US Hwy 50, Lee's Summit, MO 64086).
