A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Carolyn dedicated her life to creating a loving home as a stay-at-home mom in Kansas City. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband and best friend, Hugh, with whom she shared 57 beautiful years of marriage.
Carolyn was survived by her children, Suzanne and Robb; and her siblings, Roy and Linda. She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Kyler, Ryan, Gavin, Nicholas, Liam, Evan, and Sophia, who will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home, located at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133. Visitation will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
