Carolyn Joyce Lesjack

Carolyn J. Lesjack of Kansas City, MO was greeted into Heaven by her Lord and Savior, Monday, November 30, 2015, at Kansas City Hospice House. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be 10:00 a.m.. Saturday, December 5, 2015, at The Methodist Church of the Resurrection, in the Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 66224. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Kansas City Hospice .

Carolyn was born July 31, 1941, in Detroit, MI, to Ernest C. Sooey and Mary Katherine (Slaughter) Sooey, who preceded her in death. Carolyn attended Central Michigan University before marrying Jerry Lesjack in 1960. Carolyn was a manufacturer’s representative for several nationally known furniture and accessory-related companies. Carolyn’s survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jerry of the home; two daughters, Tammy Hall and husband Rory, Keri Peterson and husband Jim, all of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Alisha Thompson and husband Trey Thompson of Chicago, IL, Adam Hall of Overland Park, KS, Eric Hall of Manhattan, KS, Alex Peterson of Overland Park, KS, & Ryan Peterson of Overland Park, KS, great granddaughter, Gabriela Thompson; brother Carl Sooey of North Carolina; sister Janet Newell of Denver, CO.
