Catherine B. Locascio

She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church since 1968, where she was an integral part of organizing the annual St. Joseph Table. She was a Red Hat member for many years. She retired as a grocery checker at Milgram’s after 18 years. In 1993, she was the recipient of the Bishops Award for service to the church.

Catherine is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Mike Locascio, and also brothers Anthony Ingolia and Joseph Ingolia. She is survived by her five children Sam (Diane) Locascio, Dominick (Patty) Locascio, Joe (Kathy) Locascio, Josephine (Roy) Hartley and Julia Locascio-Dorsey; a younger sister Barbara Murphy of Fountain Valley, CA, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 12th at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055 from 2-5pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am, Monday, March 13th at the church. Burial in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery.
