Catherine A. Petree, 97, Kansas City North, passed away December 19, 2013 at her home. The Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 AM Monday, December 23rd at St. Gabriel Catholic Church where a visitation will begin at 9:00 AM; burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
Catherine was born August 7, 1916 in Independence, KS to Charles and Catherine Lohner. She was a member of St Gabriel Catholic Church. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn J. Petree in 2010; her parents; and siblings, Sara Downs, Rose Lohner, Mike Lohner Charles Lohner and Delores Lohner.
Survivors include a son, Lynn P. “Pete” Petree and his wife, Jenna; 2 grandchildren, Daniel L Petree and wife, Teneshia, and Shana R. Ford and husband, Shane; and 6 great grandchildren.
