BORN A CHIEF….RAISED A CHIEF….DIED A CHIEF!
Well, here we are at the end, but really it isn’t the end – it’s the beginning of a totally new way of living! It’s been a long and difficult road these last several years and I know I’ve not been the easiest person to live with sometimes, and for that, I’m sorry. I have had the most wonderful life! I have the greatest of family and friends! Thank You all for making me the person I turned out to be! Whenever you smell strawberries and cream or apples and cinnamon, you’ll know that I’m not far away.
Left behind to party on are my Brothers and Sisters: Ted Derks and family, Jason Ferguson and family, Tracey Ridgeway and family, and Trish Binkley and family. Guardian Parents: Tony and Kay Jenkins, and the entire Dosher and Derks clans.
Those that left before I did: Dad and Mom – Earl and Betty Derks, Grandparents – Ted and Tillie Derks and Walter and Doris Dosher, and many Aunts, Uncles and other relatives.
The celebration of my life will be held at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 E. 47th Street, Kansas City, MO on Saturday, April 11 from 6pm to 8pm with several memorial parties to be held at later dates. These will all be informal celebrations, so please come as you are!
In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in my memory to Bikers Against Child Abuse, Kansas City Chapter or the local B.A.C.A. chapter in your area.
I DID IT MY WAY AND SLID IN HEAD FIRST…..AND MAN….WHAT A RIDE!!!
