CHARLES W. BURNS April 6, 1926-January 14, 2015 Charles W. Burns, age 88, of Independence, MO, passed away January 14, 2015. Memorial service at 2PM on Friday, January 23 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Charles retired from Associated Wholesale Grocers after being a driver for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Connie L Burns; two Brothers, Darwin Seymour and Robert Burns; and one Sister, Ester Faye Moore. He is survived by his Son, Walker (Susan) Burns; Daughter Carrie (Lane) Russell; three Sisters, Hazel Loree Carlton, Virginia (Jeff) Embree, Betty Wright; two Brothers, Fred "Jr." Burns, Marvin (Becky) Burns; and three Grandchildren, Charles Owen, Amanda Burns, and Andrew Burns.
