Chuck was born October 2, 1964 in Miami, Florida; one of six children to Arthur and Nancy Queen. Chuck lived his life to the fullest and was known for his kind heart and gentle soul. Chuck loved his family, his friends and was a dedicated and loving husband to wife and best friend Jaime Johnson-Queen.
Chuck attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, class of 1983. He remained close with his high school friends throughout his life. After high school Chuck went to Ft. Scott Junior College to play football. Soon after college Chuck joined his father’s business United Communications Engineering and Design. After several years of working for the family business, Chuck started his own business United Communication Contractors; a telecommunications company, where he worked until his death. Chuck received his passion to be a successful business owner from his dad. He had a special gift for client services and could sell just about anything he put his mind too. His clients loved him and appreciated his many years of expertise in the telecommunications industry.
In the fall of 2008, Chuck met the love of his life, Jaime Johnson. After many months of trying to persuade her to accept a date, she relented and they fell in love at The Eagles concert soon after. From that moment forward their love grew deeper and were married on October 19, 2012. Chuck and Jaime loved going to Royals and Chiefs games with good friends. They also shared special times traveling to their favorite romantic paradise Jamaica where they recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary.
If you knew Chuck, you will never forget his infectious laugh and his giving heart. He touched so many lives and would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was the light that brightened up the room and everyone was drawn to him. You couldn’t help but want to be around him.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Nancy Queen. He leaves behind his wife Jaime Johnson-Queen, sister Claudia Russell (Ray), brothers Sandy Queen (Laura), David Queen (Melinda), Tim Queen, sister Rebecca Queen-Johnson (Charlie) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved greatly.
