

Charles was born on December 14, 1948 to Dorothy Alice Luppens (Mother and deceased) and Charles Denver Luppens Sr. (Father and deceased). The other children included Rosie, Charlynn (deceased), and Frank (deceased).
Charles attended elementary and high-school in the KCMO area. Charles graduated from East High-School in 1966. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after graduation. He attended Central Missouri State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Education, then taught at Osage High-School. Charles' employment included Sears Roubuck and DST Software Company in the KCMO area.
Charles married the love of his life, Mary Edith Eichenberger on May 30, 1992. Mary passed away June 30, 2022. Charles and Mary loved Australian Shepherd dogs. The dogs were their children and brought much enjoyment in their lives.
Charles was involved with the boy scouts; an Eagle Scout rank and member of Mic-O-Say Tribe "Keeper of The Sacred Bundle", a staff member H Roe Bartle Scout Reservation Camp. Other organizations included V.F.W., Post 21, Masons, Shriners, and V.A. Services all in the KC Metro area.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations would be appreciated to any animal foundation or shelter in the KCMO area.
A visitation for Charles will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133.
A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133.
A graveside service with military honors will occur Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home & Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
