Charlotte Tschirhart

TSCHIRHART Charlotte (Babe) Tschirhart, 98, passed peacefully on April 21, 2013 at Edgewood Manor in Raytown, MO. She was surrounded by her loving family and with support from Good Shepherd Hospice. Charlotte was born August 26, 1914 in Kansas City, MO, to Joseph and Catherine Dommershausen. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joseph Theodore Tschirhart, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild. Charlotte is dearly missed by her 3 sons and 3 daughters, Joseph R. Tschirhart & wife Charlene, Ted Tschirhart & wife Mary Jo, Bernard J. Tschirhart, all of Kansas City, MO, Charlene K. Tschirhart & partner Lynne Juarez of Claremont, CA, Mary Alice Yardley & husband Charles of Scottsdale, AZ & Christine Tomlinson & husband Richard who is deceased of Kansas City, KS. Charlotte is lovingly remembered by her 24 grandchildren, 40 great- grandchildren, 16 great-great- grandchildren. Charlotte lived at 2546 Charlotte Street in Kansas City, MO from early childhood until 1981. She and her family were faithful members of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish where she worshipped and attended grade school. She was an enthusiastic student at Redemptorist High School. She enjoyed traveling, singing, spending time with her grandchildren and friends and had a delightful sense of humor. Services: Thursday, April 25. Rosary: 8:30 AM, Visitation 9 AM. Mass: 10 AM, Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 2552 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO. A Reception will follow after the burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO, at Our Lady of Lords Parish Hall 8812 E. Gregory Blvd., (Blue Ridge and Gregory) Raytown, MO.
