On October 5, 1959, in Kansas City Missouri, Cheryl Yvonne Andrews was born to the parents of Bruce L. Curren and Alfrances Curren, who both preceded her in death.
Cheryl attended Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Upon completion of High School, Cheryl worked in various medical positions during her career before taking a position with the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Cheryl was united in marriage to Al Ray “Coach Al” Andrews on October 8, 1977. Their marriage was an example of “True Love” and commitment. They were blessed to have shared 29 years together before Al’s passing and now, they are re-united; resting in eternity.
To this union they were blessed with two sons, Derrick Andrews, and Bruce Andrews, which both reside in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Cheryl was always the life of the party and enjoyed social gatherings with her family and friends. Some of her hobbies included, traveling, cooking, and recently picked-up the hobby of fishing.
Cheryl’s most enjoyable time was spent with her children and grandchildren.

Al Ray “Byrd” Williams, (Felicia Williams) of Bedford, Texas. Grandchildren: Devin James Andrews and Michael Ray Andrews of Lee’s Summit Missouri. David Jordan Williams, Ethan James Williams, Brice Andrew Williams and Alicia Rae Williams, of Bedford, Texas. Sisters: Marla Mourning, (James Mourning) and Donna Garry, (Billy Garry). Brothers: Rodney Curren, (Shirley Curren) and Ricky Jones, (Nicola Jones). Stepfather, Wade Wilson, Aunts, Anita Clayborn and Dr. H. Yvonne Curren, all of Kansas City, Missouri. Sister-in-law, Rita Andrews-Eason, (Hubert Eason) of Ft. Worth, Texas and a host of other relatives and close friends.
