Cheryl was born on April 18, 1958, in Wareham, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Warren A. McKnight and Shirley Mongeon McKnight.
Cheryl retired on August 13, 2013, after 35 years of loyal service to Hallmark Cards, Inc.
Remaining to cherish Cheryl’s memories are her beloved husband of 50 years, Mark Jones; her mother, Shirley McKnight; her sisters, Peggy McKnight Howard and Susie McKnight Adams; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Preceding Cheryl in death was her father Warren A. McKnight, and her brother, Kenny McKnight.
A visitation will be held September 15, 2026, at McGilley Antioch Chapel (3325 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, Missouri 64119) at 12:00pm. A celebration of life reception will follow at 1:00 PM. Private Interment will take place at East Slope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
